Who We Are and How to Reach Us
Weddings Venues & Beaches runs this site. Write to us at privacy@weddingvnb.com with any question about your personal information.
What We Collect
We collect only what the site needs to work for you:
- your account email and the identifiers you sign in with, such as a Google or Apple account;
- the venues you save;
- the notes you send, the contact details you put in them, and the network address they were sent from;
- browser identifiers and the preferences you choose, such as your privacy settings;
- measurements of how the site is used, such as the pages and venues viewed.
Why We Use It
We use this information to run your account and keep your favorites, to pass your note to the venue you ask about so you can hear back, to keep the site safe from abuse, and to learn which pages help couples so we can improve them.
How Long We Keep It
We keep the details of a note you send about a venue for up to 36 months after the last one you sent us about it. We keep a note sent through our Contact page for up to 36 months after we received it or answered it, whichever is later.
We keep inactive accounts for up to 36 months, and then delete or anonymize them.
We keep everything else only as long as the purposes above need it.
Who We Share It With
We share personal information only with:
- service providers who host the site, deliver our email and check that a form was sent by a person, each using it only for that work;
- the venue you ask us to contact, which receives your note and the contact details in it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or take a copy of your personal information, or to opt out of its sale or sharing, by writing to privacy@weddingvnb.com. We reply within 45 days.
We honor Global Privacy Control, a browser setting that tells websites you do not want your information sold or shared, for every visitor, wherever you are. When your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out.
Children
The site is for adults planning a wedding. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to This Policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we say so on the site.
